International Summer School in Critical Theory: Racial Capitalism (Berlin)

The CALL FOR APPLICATIONS for the International Summer School in Critical Theory 2025 on “Racial Capitalism” is now open.

The Summer School will take place in Berlin from June 30 – July 4, 2025, and is organised by the Centre for Social Critique, the Chairs for Social Philosophy at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Rahel Jaeggi) and at Free University Berlin (Robin Celikates), in cooperation with the New School for Social Research (Alice Crary).

This year, the instructors are Tommie Shelby (Harvard University), Inés Valdez (Johns Hopkins University), Robert Gooding-Williams (Yale University), Manuela Bojadžijev (Humboldt Universität zu Berlin), as well as Rahel Jaeggi (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), Robin Celikates (Free University Berlin), and Christian Schmidt (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin).

The application deadline is January 19, 2025.
