Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 September 2024 (3 days)
In-person (with possibly some online participation as yet to be defined)
Welcoming academics, practitioners, and professionals from across the spectrum of phenomenological research interests, we suggest the theme is interpreted through three main questions:
- How are norms and histories embodied through memory, people, and places?
- How can critique, theory, and praxis transform these relations?
- How might phenomenological analysis contribute to intergenerational ethics and justice?
We propose exploring these questions together in the city of Bristol — a place reckoning with its own complex history and identity.
