Phenomenology and Phaneroscopy: A Neglected Chapter in the History of Ideas

This book explores the connections and parallels between Edmund Husserl’s Phenomenology and Charles S. Peirce’s Pheneroscopy. The chapters in this book place the two thinkers in a novel discourse, while at the same time engaging in a mutual exploration of the large overlaps between the two historically largely independently developed but converging ideas of mind, cognition, consciousness, being and experience. It is the second volume in a planned series of three, the first of which is Peirce and Husserl: Mutual Insights on Logic, Mathematics, and Cognition (2019).
