In these new perspectives on the COVID-19 pandemic, authors have attended carefully to the lived complexities of the contemporary global health crisis, and provide a glimpse at the rich theoretical toolkit and methodological potential within critical phenomenology today. The contributions helpfully intervene in, and enrich, ongoing discussion of public health by explicitly thematizing power relations, structural forces, and unequal distributions of privilege in their phenomenological analyses of lived experience.
