The Polish Phenomenological Association was founded in 2002. The Association organizes a conference every year – alternately, one with a Polish and one with an international scope. These conferences have become an important part of Polish research on phenomenology, providing space for the development of a network of contacts among Polish phenomenologists. The Association also regularly organizes reading groups, seminars, lectures, operating both at the national and international level. As such, it encourages scholars from all over the world to cooperate.
