Visiting fellowships in applied phenomenology are available at the Danish Institute for Advanced Study and the research unit, Movement, Culture and Society at University of Southern Denmark. Eligible applicants should be near the end of their PhD or have received their PhD in the last four years. They should work in phenomenology and have an interest in conducting empirical qualitative research (although they don’t need prior experience conducting qualitative research).
The purpose of the visiting fellowship is to provide initial mentorship and support to those who would like to apply for external postdoctoral funding to take up a position at University of Southern Denmark. Successful applicants will receive approx. €3,500 to cover a one-month stay.
